Samsung Cheats Again with Note 3 Benchmarks

Earlier this year, Samsung  was caught boosting benchmark results of  Galaxy S4 ,as reported by AnandTech . Now Samsung has been caught cheating on benchmark tests once again and this time with the Galaxy Note 3.

Galaxy Note 3 showed a 20% increase in scores for GeekBench 3, but when it came to Linpack test the result was as much as 50% higher.Samsung Galaxy S4 scores too were disputed by reviewers. Antutu, GeekBench, Linpack, Benchmark Pi etc  give scores based on various parameters, such as web browsing, graphics rendition, data read/write rate etc.

"We noticed an odd thing while testing the Samsung Galaxy Note 3: it scores really, really well in benchmark tests—puzzlingly well, in fact,We also found a way to disable this special CPU mode, so for the first time we can see just how much Samsung’s benchmark optimizations affect benchmark scores” Ron Amadeo reports for Ars Technica.

It seems Samsung is trying to polish the octa-core Galaxy S4 reputation.
